Bus times near me: how to find them

Why doesn't this page show live bus times?

Bus times depend on which exact stop you're at, and change by operator and region — there is no single national feed we could show here that would be more accurate than checking directly. Traveline is the UK-wide journey planner that covers bus, coach and rail across most of the country, and most local transport authorities (like Transport for London for London specifically) also have their own live departure boards.
